The Data Protection Act 1998
The West of England Partnership maintains personal information, as electronic or paper files, in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998).
If information is required to be shared with partner organisations it will only be shared in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Where appropriate, information may also be shared with other organisations for the prevention and detection of crime, disorder or fraud.
Where explicit permission is given or service requested, personal information may also be used by the Partnership for; quality control, promotion, advertising, licensing, health and safety purposes.
Under the Freedom of Information Act you may apply to the Information Compliance Officer to see a copy of your personal information.
