The Joint Local Transport Plan

The four councils (Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire) are working in partnership to plan and deliver transport improvements in the West of England area. The Joint Local Transport Plan is the first step towards this, setting out our plans for improving transport over the next five years (2006-2011), and a longer term vision, looking ahead 20 - 30 years. The next Joint Local Transport Plan
We have started work on the next generation of Joint Local Transport Plans which will take the current Plan beyond 2011. In line with draft Government Guidance the Plan is likely to take the shape of a long term Strategy and a short term Delivery Plan.
